Job Description

Operate CT scan equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images as per physician's instructions. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety. Position patients correctly and set appropriate technical parameters for image quality. Ensure radiation safety measures are followed strictly during all procedures. Maintain and calibrate CT equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance. Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for image analysis. Manage and store imaging data systematically in PACS or other hospital systems. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards. Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally. Assist in other radiology department activities as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Diploma / B.Sc. in Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology (DMIT/BMIT). Certification or training in

CT Scan Technology

is mandatory. Minimum

1-3 years of experience

as a CT Technician (experience in a hospital or diagnostic center preferred). Sound knowledge of CT equipment operation and safety protocols. Strong communication and patient-handling skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in shifts if required.
