Job Description

Operate CT scan & cray equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images as per physician instructions. Prepare and position patients correctly for CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Review patients' medical history and confirm procedure requirements before scanning. Monitor patients during the scan and respond immediately to any discomfort or emergency. Administer contrast media safely (if certified), following proper protocols and documentation. Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure optimal performance and image accuracy. Follow radiation safety guidelines strictly to protect patients and staff. Store, manage and transfer CT images to PACS/radiology systems with accuracy. Coordinate with radiologists for proper interpretation and follow-up instructions. Maintain accurate records and reports of all CT procedures performed. Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the CT room for every patient. Communicate clearly with patients, explaining the procedure and addressing concerns. Assist in emergency scans, trauma cases, and urgent diagnostic requirements. Stay updated on CT technology and follow the hospital's quality and safety protocols.
