Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented

CSSD Technician

to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, disinfection, packaging, sterilization, and proper distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment, ensuring adherence to hospital infection control and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean, disinfect, pack, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment as per standard protocols. Operate and monitor autoclaves, ETO machines, plasma sterilizers, and related equipment. Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and quality control indicators. Ensure timely supply and distribution of sterile instruments to all hospital departments. Follow infection control and biomedical waste management guidelines. Inspect, assemble, and prepare instrument trays for various surgical procedures. Ensure preventive maintenance and calibration of sterilization equipment. Adhere strictly to hospital policies, safety procedures, and NABH standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Qualification:

12th (Science stream)

from a recognized board.

Diploma in CSSD Technology / Hospital Sterilization Technology

from a recognized institution.

Experience:

1-3 years of relevant experience in CSSD or hospital sterilization department.

Knowledge of:

Sterilization techniques (Steam, ETO, Plasma, Chemical, etc.) Infection control standards (NABH compliance). Proper handling of delicate and critical surgical instruments.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
