Job Description

Decontamination:

Receiving used medical devices and cleaning them using manual and mechanical methods.

Inspection:

Checking instruments for damage, wear, or malfunction and reporting any issues.

Assembly & Packaging:

Preparing and packaging instrument trays and sets for sterilization, often including preparing checklists.

Sterilization:

Operating and monitoring sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves and washer-disinfectors, to ensure proper processing.

Quality Assurance:

Monitoring the effectiveness of sterilization processes and solutions, and ensuring all processed items meet regulatory and safety standards.

Inventory Management:

Sorting and restocking medical supplies, maintaining inventory levels, and distributing sterile items to various departments.

Record Keeping:

Documenting decontamination and sterilization processes, and tracking equipment maintenance.

Infection Control:

Adhering to infection control protocols and using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe environment and prevent cross-contamination.

Pay: ₹9,965.53 - ₹25,797.02 per month
