Job Description

Work as team member of CSSD to carry out all the activities zone wise as per the procedures Responsible for cleaning, packing, sterilization, sterile storage and issue of all instruments and equipment required for use as per the standard Keeps accurate and up to date records of all sterilizing and sterilizers according to the standard Maintains a clean and safe environment in entire area of CSSD by washing, disinfection and proper maintenance Keeps CSSD In charge informed of activities in the area and asks for guidance as necessary Responsible for adhering the assignments given by CSSD Incharge and carry out the additional duties assigned, if required When the shift breaks, hand over the responsibilities to the next shift staff with appropriate documentation Responsible for intactness of surgical sets as per the checklist Reconstitute the detergents and enzymes as per the specifications and necessary checklists should be maintained Responsible for maintaining the time of receiving and issuing of sets as per the policy Check and confirm availability of all inventory items at the start of every shift, if any discrepancy noted it should reported to CSSD In charge with documented evidence Responsible to maintain the CSSD register with all batch monitoring details Responsible to clean and the autoclave machine on daily basis and maintain the checklist, if any defect noticed it should be recorded and reported Microbiology surveillance test should be done as per the schedule Maintain and update all CSSD records and registers in the absence of CSSD in charge PEP management and stick injury protocol is strictly abided Worn plastic apron, mask, goggles, elbow length glove and Gum boots before enter to the decontamination room Report Untoward incidences to the CSSD in charge Responsible to be present at the work station on time. Maintain good relationship with patients, management, other departments and staff. Participate in orientation and training programmes conducted by organizations. Apply for leaves in advance and get the approval from Incharge - CSSD Shall be responsible for obeying the duty schedule allotted by Incharge - CSSD. Shall be responsible to carry out all the duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

Qualification:

- Diploma in CSSD

Experience:

- 0-4 years
