a) To handle day to day business transaction, customer queries, provide effective resolution and ensure quality of business through proper process adherence.
b) Increase the Mobile MGP centre business through business developmentactivities, consistently cross sells and up-sells multiple products and services
Responsibilities
a) Responsible to handle day to day transactions and valuables. Maintain all data and records related to daily transactions.
b) Ensure proper verification, checking, appraisal and melting of purchasing gold ornaments/bar/coin.
c) Ensure proper documentation before purchasing and keep all the documents duly completed in all respect in safe custody, as per set guidelines
d) Scrutinize the daily voucher and ensure proper maintenance, as well as safe keeping of vouchers
e) To undertake new assignments/ duties being assigned as a part of centre job rotation carried out at time to time
f) Daily verification of cash when designated or given charge of cashier duties
g) Daily and regular verification of the gold and silver products and other securities
h) Balancing and tallying of all accounts at stipulated intervals adhering to the laid down procedure as per the manual of instructions.
i) To be thorough with the Product manual and all operational/administrative instruction issued head office from time to time
j) Cash carrying/remittance and other cash related operations/bank account operation as directed by the branch manager/management from time to time
k) To ensure quality of business and operational efficiency through proper process adherence and facilitate smooth functioning of centers
l) Attending to any other duties that may be assigned/by the superiors/management from time to time
m) To take upon voluntarily and without objection the duties of the other staff member as far as possible if exigencies warrant so.
n) Maintain data confidentiality
o) Promote and maintain positive relations with all the contacts, customers and potential customers
p) Assist walk-in customers; maintain highest level of customer service by being polite, courteous, avoid conflict, wisely handling the present and prospective customers.
q) Able to work in a target oriented environment which includes indoor/outdoor marketing activity
r) Effectively communicate on the product features to the customers
s) Promotes the products and services; consistently cross-sells and up-sells products at every opportunity

• Product Knowledge
• Basic Gold & Precious metals market Knowledge in India
• Basic Gold Market prevailing at the native market (The state which the Muthoot Gold Point is located )
• Procedure for checking the Quality of Gold Pledged i.e. Good or Spurious
• General KYC documents
• Basic Computer knowledge and our software
• Basic Computer knowledge and MS office applications
• Negotiation Skill
• Negotiation skill on the price with the customer
