Shivalik College of Engineering (SCE) is seeking an

eminent academician and leader

to join as

Professor in Computer Science cum Dean Academics

. The candidate will play a dual role of contributing to teaching & research in Computer Science and providing academic leadership to drive excellence across all programs of the institution.

Roles & ResponsibilitiesAs Professor - Computer Science

Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in emerging areas of Computer Science & Engineering (AI, ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, etc.). Guide and mentor research scholars, M.Tech, and B.Tech students towards impactful research and innovation. Publish high-quality research in reputed international journals and conferences. Collaborate with industry and research organizations for sponsored projects, consultancy, and training. Develop innovative teaching-learning practices, including outcome-based education (OBE) and blended learning models.

As Dean Academics

Provide strategic direction for academic planning, curriculum design, and policy formulation to align with NEP 2020 and AICTE guidelines. Lead faculty development initiatives, ensuring continuous upskilling, mentoring, and performance enhancement. Strengthen research culture, innovation ecosystem, and interdisciplinary collaboration across departments. Ensure academic quality assurance through NBA/NAAC accreditation processes, rankings, and regulatory compliance. Drive initiatives for student engagement, career readiness, and holistic development. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability in teaching and research.

Qualifications & Eligibility

Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering

(mandatory). First Class at Bachelor's and Master's level in Computer Science & Engineering or relevant discipline. Minimum

15 years of teaching/research/industry experience

, of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Professor in a reputed institution. Strong record of

research publications, patents, funded projects, or consultancy

. Demonstrated leadership in academic administration, curriculum design, accreditation, or policy implementation. Excellent communication, networking, and collaboration skills with academia, industry, and regulatory bodies.

The role of

Director/Principal of an Engineering College

(as per AICTE norms):

Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology

(mandatory). First Class at Bachelor's or Master's level in the relevant branch of Engineering. Minimum

15 years of experience

in teaching/research/industry, out of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Professor. Proven track record in academic leadership, accreditation, institution building, and governance. Significant contributions to research, innovation, and development of academic systems.
