Role Overview
: The Legal Executive will be responsible for handling all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters of the company.
This role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, managing litigation, ensuring statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
? Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
? Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
? Manage and coordinate with external lawyers for litigation and legal proceedings.
? Prepare and maintain legal records, case files, and documentation.
? Provide legal advice to management on business strategies, policies, and transactions.
? Draft notices, replies, and handle arbitration/dispute resolution matters.
Requirements
: ₹ Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB);
Master's in Law (LLM) is an advantage.
? 2-5 years of experience in corporate legal, compliance, or law firm practice.
? Strong knowledge of corporate law, labor laws, contracts, and compliance regulations.
? Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
? Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
? High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced CS &
Legal Compliance Manager
to oversee and manage all legal, regulatory, and compliance functions across the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
FMCG, BPC (Beauty & Personal Care) sectors, in start-ups environments
or established company with expertise in
compliance, legal metrology, Drug & Cosmetic Laws and Rules, intellectual property, Environmental Act & Rules, ASCI advertising guidelines and corporate legal advisory
.
This role involves close collaboration with senior management, regulatory bodies, and external counsel to ensure that Ghar Soaps operates in full compliance with applicable laws while supporting business growth and governance excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Non-Litigation & Contractual Matters :
Draft, review, and finalize various legal agreements and contracts including vendor, distributor, influencer, lease, employment, NDAs, and service agreements, etc.
2. Regulatory Legal Compliances
Ensure compliance with
Legal Metrology, Drugs & Cosmetics Act, FSSAI, BIS
and other relevant laws.
Renewal of all applicable licenses in time and also ensuring that all applicable forms and returns are filled for all applicable laws
3. Legal Advisory & Research:
Provide proactive legal advice to management and business teams on various operational and strategic matters.
4. Litigation Management including IP
Handle, track, and manage all ongoing and potential litigations involving the company.
Draft responses to legal notices and coordinate with external counsel for hearings and proceedings.
Represent company interests in consumer disputes, regulatory cases, and related matters.
Oversee all IP-related activities including trademark filings, renewals, oppositions, and infringement management.
5. MIS & Due Diligence:
Maintain and update all legal MIS, trackers, and documentation for compliance and audit readiness & reporting Non- Compliance to management.
6 . Company Secretary
Doing all company Secretary work which includes conducting Board Meetings, preparing minutes, filling all forms & returns, updating all registers, CSR compliance, etc.
MIS of Company law including highlighting non-compliance to management.
Requirements:
Education:
LL.B. (mandatory) and qualified CS.
Experience:
5-8 years of relevant experience in Legal & Compliance, preferably in
FMCG, BPC, in consumer-focused start-ups or established companies
with 3 years Independently handled CS & Compliance Department as Head/ HOD.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong understanding of
corporate, IP, and regulatory laws
.
Proven experience in handling
litigations, compliance, and contract management
.
Excellent
drafting, negotiation, and communication
skills.
Strong organizational and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a
fast-paced, evolving environment

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
