Job Summary:

Velammal Cricket Stadium is seeking a qualified and dedicated

Cricket Coach

to train and develop students and players in cricket skills, fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship. The coach will be responsible for planning and conducting coaching sessions, improving individual and team performance, and promoting a positive sporting culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct regular cricket coaching sessions for students and players. Train players in batting, bowling, fielding, wicket-keeping, and match strategies. Identify and nurture talented players for competitive tournaments. Prepare training schedules and fitness programs as per age and skill levels. Ensure discipline, punctuality, and sportsmanship among players. Organize practice matches, selection trials, and team practices. Maintain attendance and basic performance records of players. Ensure safety of players during practice and matches. Coordinate with school/management authorities for tournaments and events. Take responsibility for cricket equipment and proper use of facilities. Perform any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Eligibility / Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Physical Education / Sports Coaching OR recognized Cricket Coaching Certification. Proven experience as a Cricket Coach or professional cricketer will be preferred. Good knowledge of cricket rules, techniques, and training methods. Ability to work with students and young players effectively. Good communication and leadership skills.

Strong technical knowledge of cricket Coaching and mentoring ability Team management Discipline and integrity First-aid and basic fitness training knowledge (preferred)

Working Hours:

As per stadium schedule and tournament requirements.

Remuneration:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
