Overall Job Objective:

The Crew VC is responsible for achieving superior and breakthrough visibility in market. With the new shopper based store classification in place, and high investment behind the India1 channel, it is extremely important that the instore visibility in these stores is far superior to competition.

A crew VC has complete responsibility for ALL merchandising activities in an India1 store. These include RPS visibility, STAR window display execution, PMU execution and all other merchandising related to the monthly initiatives.

Eligibility:

Qualification : 10th pass

Experience : Must have worked as a VC for at least one year either in the P&G system or external

Language Known : Local Language

Key Criteria : Should be able to independently operate in the market, build relationships with store owners and have high levels of discipline.

Daily Routine of a VC Crew

1. Prepare Merchandising Kit as per the PFD sheet given by the VTL and check camera/batteries.

2. Visit the stores as per the day's DRCP (DRCP same as the DSE's except two days later. Example if the DSE covers a route on Monday, it will be covered by the VC Crew on Wednesday, after the supply takes place on tuesday)

3. Show ID card to the dealer to gain entry to the store.

4. Execute as per merchandising priorities.

5. Take photographs of all categories/displays executed

Get signature on the contract form from the retailer on completion of execution. Handover camera to VTL Collect PFD sheet and contract forms from VTL.

Photographs taken at every store of all categories/ display windows every week.

100% store photographs taken and submitted to the VTL everyday.

Future Career Path

A Crew VC can be promoted either to become a DSE or a VTL depending on his capability, interest and performance.
