Open and prepare the cafe front area (equipment, cash float, cleanliness, displays).
Greet customers promptly and communicate professionally.
Take accurate orders and enter them correctly into the POS.
Process payments correctly and issue proper invoices.
Inform customers of any unavailable items.
Monitor stock of pastries, beverages, and front-area supplies; log shortages.
Maintain cleanliness of entrance, counter, tables, and display areas.
Perform closing duties: reconcile cash, clean counters, restock essentials, switch off equipment.
Maintain professional conduct--no gossiping, remain calm under pressure, stay proactive.
