Job Description

The Credit Portfolio Officer is a senior-level position responsible for leading activities including Portfolio reporting and monitoring in coordination with the Risk Management team. The overall objective of this role is to manage Citi's portfolio exposure to client and counterparties globally.
Responsibilities: He/She will be part of the India Citi Business Risk team and will be responsible for:

• Disciplined monitoring and tracking of India Citi Business portfolio including Portfolio Triggers monitoring and Data analysis
• Manage Portfolio reporting for India Citi Business portfolio including regulatory reporting and Data integrity checks
• Close coordination with global Risk reporting team for accurate and timely reporting
• Participate and provide inputs for Portfolio reviews with country and regional seniors across Business and Risk
• Manage Cost of Credit reporting including Annual plan, monthly flash estimates and variance analysis
• Assist in Basel reporting for Citi Business portfolio including monthly reporting activities and quarterly reviews
• Assist in CECL & IFRS9 workings including ICAAP documentation
• Maintain database for appropriate portfolio analysis
• Assist in Data migration for Business transfer to Axis bank and coordinate with Finance, Operations and technology units for data delivery and migration

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in risk management or equivalent; training and experience preferably in the financial services industry
• Proven ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize and prioritize
• Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and analytic skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree / Chartered Accountant preferred

On March 30, 2022 , Citi reached an agreement with Axis Bank for the sale of Citi’s consumer businesses in India. The transaction comprises the sale of the consumer banking businesses of Citibank India, which includes credit cards, retail banking, wealth management and consumer loans. The transaction also includes the sale of the consumer business of Citi’s non-banking financial company, Citicorp Finance (India) Limited, comprising the asset-backed financing business, which includes commercial vehicle and construction equipment loans, as well as the personal loans portfolio. It excludes Citi’s institutional client businesses in India. Citi remains committed and focused on serving institutional clients in India and globally. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2023 subject to requisite regulatory approvals.
