Job Description


: To ensure that only good quality proposals are put up and approve by competent authorities To impart and uplift subordinates and enable them to reach their potential Constantly look for new changes which is likely to arise dude to any internal or external environment To establish and fine tune from time to time, the product and policies on Construction Finance To identify risk exposures for the Construction Finance Business in the various products and business proposals, operating procedures and processes. To establish and continuously fine tune credit and risk policies and guidelines for Construction Finance processes and steps for mitigating these risks, in line with the overall risk policy of the bank To continuously monitor the Construction Finance business risk exposure and plan for improvement of products and processes to contain risk, keeping a tab on risk trends and developments. To establish proper documentation and ensure adherence to risk control and documentation norms. To help keep delinquencies within control and to control credit loss within budgeted limits To analyze high value and significant Construction Finance credit proposals individually in order to assess credit worthiness and risk exposure of the bank. To provide guidance, standards and objectives for good practice and ensuring abest practice` from a technical/professional point of view. To support the Construction Finance business in controlling Turn Around Time by self and all members of the Construction Finance Credit team, and ensuring full customer satisfaction, without jeopardizing the interests of the bank. To ensure adherence to all operating guidelines of various Regulatory Authorities, RBI as well as internal bank guidelines. To implement measures for regular audit and review mechanisms to keep an ongoing check on adherence To ensure that all credit risk related processes - credit/risk assessments, tracking, documentation etc are robust, intensive, clear and at the same time user friendly and efficient. To provide inputs to the HOD related to people`s capabilities to ensure capabilitywork challenge match To entrust subordinates with the purposes of the organization as that can be realized in their area. To provide clear guidance and direction vis- -vis department goals. To clarify expectations and establish standards of employee performance in the department and provide feedback to improve performance To encourage immediate reports with expertise and knowledge areas to use their own judgment in such a way that best practice is ensured. To establish systems for competency building, coaching and skill enhancement in his department with individual focus on direct reports To give people the space to do their work to the best of their ability and ensuring employee motivation in the department. Recognise their needs and aspirations and deal with them effectively Adherence to all guidelines of regulatory authorities in all processes and outputs
