Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate credit proposals of micro and small enterprise customers, assessing both financial and non-financial parameters.

Analyze business models, cash flow patterns, and repayment capacities where formal documentation is limited.

Conduct customer and field visits where required to understand the ground realities of the business.

Collaborate with business, risk, and collections teams to ensure quality underwriting and smooth disbursement processes.

Identify early warning signals, monitor portfolio trends, and suggest corrective actions.

Develop and refine credit assessment tools suited for informal and under-documented borrower segments.

Train and guide field credit officers and sales teams on credit norms and business evaluation techniques.

Continuously improve underwriting efficiency while maintaining portfolio quality.

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate / Post-Graduate in Finance, Commerce, or related fields.

4 to 7 years

of experience in

credit underwriting or credit operations

, preferably in

micro, small business, or informal borrower segments

.

Prior experience in NBFCs / MFIs / small-ticket business lending / vehicle finance will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,007.98 - ₹35,400.32 per month
