Assess credit proposals for commercial real estate loans, lease financing, or asset-backed lending.
Analyze financial statements, cash flows, property valuations, rent rolls, and other relevant data.
Conduct due diligence on borrowers, guarantors, and the underlying collateral (e.g., office buildings, retail centers, industrial parks).
Develop detailed credit memos with clear risk identification and mitigation strategies.
Recommend loan structures, terms, and covenants in line with credit policy and market practices.
Coordinate with legal, compliance, and risk teams during loan documentation and disbursement.
Monitor portfolio performance, including covenant compliance, renewals, and risk rating adjustments.
Track market trends and property sector developments to anticipate potential credit issues.
Assist in recovery strategies for non-performing accounts, if required.
Prepare reports for senior management on credit decisions, risk concentrations, and exposure metrics.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA preferred.
