Job Description

Are you someone who loves bringing stories to life through visuals? We're looking for a

creative and detail-oriented Videographer & Video Editor

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable behind the camera and in front of the editing screen -- transforming raw footage into captivating digital content for social media and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production (On-site - South Kolkata)

Capture high-quality footage at studio or outdoor locations (mostly in and around Tollygunge). Handle complete shoot setup including camera, lighting, and sound equipment. Frame shots aesthetically and ensure clear audio and well-lit visuals. Film various content types such as interviews, reels, podcasts, and promotional videos.

Video Editing (Remote / Hybrid)

Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos using

Adobe Premiere Pro

,

Final Cut Pro

, or

DaVinci Resolve

. Add background music, sound effects, transitions, text overlays, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling. Format and optimize content for digital platforms like

YouTube

,

Instagram

, and

Facebook

.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with the content and design teams on creative ideas and campaign planning. Implement feedback and make revisions for the best final output. Contribute innovative suggestions to improve storytelling and audience engagement.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in video shooting and editing.

Skills:

Strong understanding of professional camera operations, lighting, and sound setup.

Software:

Proficiency in editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

Portfolio:

Must have previous work samples or a showreel.

Attributes:

Creative mindset, eye for detail, and ability to work independently.

Availability:

Comfortable traveling to

Tollygunge 2-3 times a week

for shoots.

Communication:

Strong command over written and spoken English.
