The Creative Technologist is responsible for innovating and automating, elevating technical vision, execution, and strategy within the Creative Team. This role combines hands-on development with creative problem-solving. You will collaborate with partner teams and senior technologists to deliver dynamic, data-driven experiences while contributing to ideation and prototyping. A strong understanding of cross-device, cross-browser, and cross-platform best practices is essential, along with a passion for advertising and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities
Influences client work by supporting senior team members
Contributes to Roadmap or Creative Innovation Projects
Proficient in troubleshooting and solving problems with the available resources and environments
Calmly addresses difficult situations; efficient at asking the right questions; consults with others about potential obstacles
Helps team with automation for workflow improvements and for team best practices
Contributes to making processes or tool improvements
Contributes to automation for workflow improvements and owns the communication out to necessary teams
Collaborates and clearly communicates with Art Directors, Digital Producers, Creative Technologists, Engineers, and other cross-team partners to deliver best-in-class work for clients
Stays connected to current industry trends and transfers knowledge to the team
Supports the team in tackling uncharted waters and can formulate plans to avoid pitfalls
Displays beginner knowledge of Epsilon's service offerings and provides input to the company's strategic planning
Performs and handles work functions with a sense of curiosity
Core Competencies
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Familiarity with animation libraries (GSAP) and frameworks (React or similar)
Understanding of cross-platform development and responsive design
Experience with version control tools (Git) and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Basic knowledge of AI tools and their application in creative workflows
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Effective collaboration and communication across creative and technical teams
Curiosity and adaptability to learn new technologies
Qualifications
Typical Experience
2- 4 years months of related professional experience
Bachelor's degree or post-graduate coursework may be desirable
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Digital Media, or related field preferred
Programming languages: JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS, C++, etc.
Design principles: Visual design, typography, color theory
Prototyping and creative experimentation: using tools like Visual Studio Code, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva
User experience and interface design
Animation and motion graphics
Collaboration and communication skills
