Knows how to simplify complex concepts and turn features into benefits.
2. Ad Copywriting & Scriptwriting
Has an understanding of frameworks like
AIDA
,
PAS
,
4Cs
, etc.
Can write short-form ad copy (headlines, CTAs, hooks) and longer scripts for Reels/Video ads.
Good command of grammar, tone, and persuasive language.
3. Basic Understanding of Marketing Platforms
Awareness of platforms like Meta Ads, YouTube Shorts, and Google Ads (Search & Display).
Doesn't need to run campaigns but should understand the purpose and format of creatives.
Bonus if they mention:
Thumbnails, hook rate, CTR, scroll stop ratio, or UGC-style creatives
4. Communication & Presentation Skills
Can explain creative ideas clearly and logically.
Good verbal fluency in English (and optionally Tamil/Hindi if regional clients are involved).
Active listener and able to receive and act on feedback.
5. Creative Research & Competitor Benchmarking
Knows how to find trends and winning ads (Ad Libraries, Instagram Reels, etc.).
Should show initiative in gathering inspiration and not just rely on instructions.
