About the Role:
As a Creative Marketing Trainer - Batch Coach (PG Programs) for IIDE's flagship 11-month Postgraduate Program in Digital Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in developing creative, confident, and industry-ready marketers.
This role goes far beyond classroom teaching. You will own the creative growth, professional readiness, and behavioural development of an assigned batch. A strong hands-on creator mindset is essential--this role demands comfort with cameras, shooting content, being on-camera, scripting, editing, and post-production.
What You'll Do:
Core Teaching & Creative Training:
Deliver structured, practical sessions across:
Marketing Fundamentals, Research & Strategy.
Core marketing principles, funnels, branding basics, STP, and marketing mix
Audience research, competitor analysis, insight interpretation, and creative strategy mapping
Creative Thinking & Ideation:
Idea generation frameworks, campaign thinking, brand storytelling, and concept development
Video & Content Marketing (Core Focus):
Video strategy and content formats
Scriptwriting & storyboarding
Camera handling & shooting techniques
On-camera performance & confidence
Editing fundamentals & post-production workflows
Platform optimisation (Instagram, YouTube, short-form platforms)
Organic Social Media Marketing:
Content planning, engagement strategies, and creative performance evaluation
Communication & Presentation Skills:
Business communication, articulation, and pitching ideas clearly and confidently
Client Servicing & Pitching:
Brief understanding, expectation management, feedback handling, pitching decks, storytelling, and objection handling
Batch Ownership & Coaching:
Own the academic progress, engagement, discipline, and overall success of the assigned batch
Track attendance, participation, assignments, and learning gaps
Conduct regular check-ins to address:
Academic challenges
Behavioural issues
Motivation & confidence gaps
Act as the first point of contact for batch-level student escalations
Guide students on:
Professional behaviour
Industry expectations
Classroom etiquette and discipline
Career, Placement & Portfolio Coaching:
Coach students on:
Portfolio creation (especially creative & video-led portfolios)
Interview preparation & mock interviews
Personal branding & presentation
Mentor students to align creative strengths with career paths
Support placement readiness in collaboration with outreach teams
Classroom & Academic Operations:
Deliver sessions as per the curriculum and defined schedules
Create and evaluate:
MCQs
Pre-tests & post-tests
Practical creative assessments
Maintain:
Classroom records
Learning resources
Academic documentation
Ensure classroom readiness, including basic tech and learning setup
Student Development & Mentorship:
Provide structured, honest feedback on student performance
Identify high-potential and at-risk students and take corrective actions
Mentor students to become confident, creative, and industry-ready marketers
Events & Creative Culture Contribution:
Actively support and participate in:
Orientation programs
Student showcases
Creative events & workshops
Mock interviews & juries
Contribute to building a strong creative culture within the PG program
Requirements
Must-Have:

  • 5-7 years of experience in:
  • Creative marketing
  • Content creation
  • Video marketing or digital marketing roles
  • Hands-on experience with cameras, shooting, scripting, editing, and post-production
Comfortable:
  • Being on camera
  • Shooting content for others and self
  • Prior experience in teaching, training, mentoring, or agency environments
  • Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills
  • High empathy, patience, discipline, and an ownership mindset
  • Passion for teaching, creativity, and student development
  • Based in Mumbai and open to full-time, on-campus work
Should-Have:
  • Experience mentoring cohorts, teams, or junior professionals
  • Familiarity with creative workflows, pitching processes, and social media trends
Nice-to-Have:
  • Certifications in marketing, content creation, filmmaking, or education
  • Exposure to student success, academic operations, or batch management roles
