We're seeking a visionary Creative Lead - Animation to drive the artistic and storytelling vision across animated projects. You will lead a team of designers, animators, and visual storytellers to produce compelling content that aligns with the brand's tone, narrative goals, and creative standards. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the creative development of animated content across all formats (2D/3D, motion graphics, character animation, etc.).
Collaborate with writers, directors, designers, and producers to define the look, tone, and style of animation projects.
Guide the animation team from concept to final delivery -- storyboarding, animatics, visual development, timing, pacing, and character performance.
Maintain high visual and storytelling quality while meeting project deadlines and creative briefs.
Provide constructive feedback to team members, helping them grow while ensuring project alignment.
Pitch ideas, treatments, and concepts to internal stakeholders or clients.
Stay current on animation trends, tools, and technologies to ensure innovation and relevance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in animation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong portfolio/reel showcasing creative direction across animated work.
Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom, Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, or similar.
Excellent storytelling skills with a deep understanding of timing, movement, and visual composition.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
Experience working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
Knowledge of production pipelines and ability to problem-solve creative and technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with both 2D and 3D animation pipelines. Familiarity with sound design and music integration in animation. Prior experience in advertising, gaming, film, or television industries.
