Job Summary
As the
Social Media Creative Head
, you will be responsible for driving the creative direction, content strategy, and execution of social media campaigns across all major platforms. You will lead a team of designers, content creators, and strategists to create innovative, brand-aligned content that engages, inspires, and converts.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership:
Lead the creative vision and execution of social media content and campaigns across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Threads, etc.).
Content Strategy & Ideation:
Develop original and engaging content ideas aligned with brand objectives and audience preferences.
Campaign Development:
Conceptualize and oversee campaigns -- from storyboarding to production -- ensuring creative excellence and brand consistency.
Team Management:
Manage and mentor a team of graphic designers, video editors, content writers, and social media executives.
Client Collaboration:
Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand brand goals and deliver creative solutions that meet objectives.
Performance & Trend Analysis:
Monitor content performance, keep up with digital trends, and adjust strategies for maximum engagement and ROI.
Cross-Platform Expertise:
Understand the nuances of each social platform and tailor content accordingly -- short-form video, reels, carousels, stories, polls, etc.
Key Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in social media content creation, strategy, or creative direction.
Strong portfolio showcasing social media campaigns with measurable impact.
Excellent visual storytelling, copywriting, and branding skills.
Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
Proficiency in creative tools: Adobe Suite, Canva, video editing apps, etc.
Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
Experience working in an agency environment is a plus.
