Role Overview

At the Demos Project, the

Graphic Designer

will be responsible for creating visually compelling, campaign-ready creative assets that support daily political communication and audience engagement.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining design consistency, visual quality, and turnaround speed across platforms. The Graphic Designer will work closely with fellow designers, content writers, video editors, and campaign teams to deliver time-bound, high-impact creative outputs aligned with campaign objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design Creation

? Develop

high-quality graphics

for social media, print materials, and campaign assets.
? Ensure visual consistency across platforms and campaign communication.

Collaborative Execution

? Work closely with

content writers, video editors,

and

campaign managers

to deliver cohesive creative outputs.
? Coordinate with other graphic designers to produce collective, high-quality deliverables under tight timelines.

File & Asset Management

? Organize and manage design files for easy access, reuse, and updates.
? Maintain structured archives for campaign creatives and templates.

Tool Proficiency & Execution

? Create visuals using industry-standard tools such as

Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDRAW,

or similar software.
? Adapt designs efficiently based on feedback from stakeholders and campaign leadership.

Time & Deadline Management

? Handle multiple design tasks simultaneously while meeting strict campaign deadlines.
? Deliver quick-turnaround creatives for daily communication needs.

Research & Innovation

? Stay updated on design trends, visual storytelling styles, and emerging creative technologies.
? Continuously improve design quality and efficiency through learning and experimentation.

AI-Assisted Design Support

? Use smart prompting techniques to leverage AI tools for image generation and visual enhancement.
? Integrate AI-generated assets to support aesthetics and speed of creative production.

Preferred Qualifications

? Ability to double up as a Video Editor when required; familiarity with

Premiere Pro, After Effects,

or similar tools is a plus.
? Comfortable producing quick, time-bound outputs using mobile-based design tools such as

Canva, Figma, CapCut, VN, InShot,

etc.
? Experience working with AI-based creative tools such as

Midjourney, ChatGPT, VEO 3, CapCut,

or equivalent.
? Prior experience working within a large, fast-paced creative team.

Minimum Qualifications

? 2+ years of experience in graphic design or creative roles.
? Proficiency in Tamil and English, with a strong understanding of local cultural and political contexts.
