thermo-fluid analysis, transient simulations, and data center cooling studies
. The candidate will be responsible for setting up, executing, and analyzing
Cradle scFLOW / Cradle SC/Tetra
simulations to support design optimization, energy efficiency, and thermal reliability of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CFD simulations using
MSC Cradle CFD tools (scFLOW, scSTREAM, SC/Tetra)
for
HVAC, electronics cooling, and data center thermal management
.
Conduct
steady-state and transient analyses
for airflow distribution, heat transfer, and cooling performance.
Work on
rack-level and room-level data center simulations
including hot aisle/cold aisle containment, CRAC/CRAH units, and liquid cooling solutions.
Pre-process CAD geometry, generate high-quality meshes, and set up boundary conditions.
Analyze results, prepare detailed technical reports, and provide design recommendations.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and facility teams for simulation-driven design improvements.
Stay updated with latest CFD methodologies and data center energy efficiency standards (ASHRAE, Green Grid, etc.).
Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's in
Mechanical / Thermal / Aerospace Engineering
or related field.
2-5 years of hands-on experience
in CFD with at least
1+ year experience in MSC Cradle CFD tools
(scFLOW / scSTREAM / SC/Tetra).
Strong understanding of
thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
.
Experience in
data center cooling, HVAC, or electronics thermal management
preferred.
Proficiency in
CAD handling (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or similar)
.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report writing skills.
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
