to ensure smooth operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the CPU systems within our ethanol production plant. The CPU Operator will be responsible for ensuring process efficiency, water quality standards, and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the CPU system to maintain optimum water quality for process requirements.
Check and maintain parameters such as turbidity, conductivity, pH, temperature, and pressure.
Perform routine start-up, shutdown, and cleaning operations of the CPU.
Maintain logs of operational data and report any deviations to the shift in-charge.
Carry out minor preventive maintenance and assist the maintenance team during major repairs.
Ensure adherence to all
safety, environmental, and operational SOPs
.
Coordinate with process, utilities, and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
Handle emergency situations and troubleshoot equipment/process issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or relevant field.
Experience:
Minimum 2-5 years in CPU or water treatment operations in ethanol, sugar, distillery, or process industry.
Knowledge of
RO, DM, Softener, and Filtration systems
preferred.
Strong troubleshooting, record-keeping, and communication skills.
Ability to work in shifts (rotational).
