The HPE CPE and USS team seeks an experienced software QA engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating software that spans multiple areas including development tools, operating systems, and related HPC and AI software stack components.


What you'll do:



Create and document detailed test plans, collaborating with software engineers and management. Develop automated test suites using Python, Bash, and CI/CD frameworks to ensure rapid and repeatable test execution Integrate automated testing into the development/System test pipeline to support continuous delivery. Test software components according to written test plans. Track software defects and effectively communicate failures to software engineers. Review engineering requirements, test plans, and test cases for completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Conduct QA audits to identify improvements and apply corrective measures. Ensure overall system-level quality, performance, and stability

What you need to bring:



B.S or M.S. degree in a related software engineering field is required. 7+ years prior experience in Software testing. 7+ years prior experience with test automation frameworks (Reframe, Avocado, etc.,) Strong understanding of Linux system administration. Prior experience with Docker, Kubernetes and networking fundamentals Prior experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc..,) for automation Solid background on HPC Software Stack Deep knowledge of HPC environments, and distributed system architectures is required. Prior experience using agile methodologies is required. Experience with AI is a plus.
