About this role
As a CPAM Accounting Associate you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of fixed asset records and supporting global end-to-end fixed asset accounting operations. You will need to be able to demonstrate technical and process expertise in managing asset transfers, sales, and disposals between entities; initiating and managing Asset Verification activities according to company policy; various aspects of fixed asset accounting and adherence to established accounting policies. In this role, you will require understanding of key business drivers for your discipline and function. You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to your discipline or functional area. It is your responsibility to use technical experience, established practices, and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance impacts the quality of your own work and your team's work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of fixed asset accounting records globally.
• Manage asset transfers, sales, cancellations, and reconciliations between legal entities.
• Conduct asset verification and review activities according to company policy.
• Prepare and analyze fixed asset and project escalation reports.
• Support month-end closing tasks and periodic financial reviews.
• Assist regional accountants and management teams with financial analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor of Commerce; Inter-CA or MBA preferred
• Core Fixed Asset Accounting or equivalent accounting experience (4+ years)
• Working experience of SAP; experience in SAP-Fixed Asset Module preferred
• Experience of working with US based MNC

Required Skills

• Proficient through job training and experience to perform tasks with limited supervision
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP Fixed Asset module preferred)
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills; Fluent in written and verbal English
• Strong proficiency in automation and productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macros)
• Process oriented and strong technical knowledge in fixed asset accounting
