Monitor and manage the company's working capital to ensure sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations.
Optimize cash flow and ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of payables.
Analyze and review cash position and forecast working capital needs.
Develop and maintain accurate cash flow projections, taking into account receivables, payables, inventory, and other working capital components.
Recommend actions to manage cash flow discrepancies, shortages, or surpluses.
Collaborate with teams to monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Implement strategies to reduce the aging of receivables and optimize payment terms with suppliers.
Analyze trends in accounts payable and receivable to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
Work with the procurement and supply chain teams to monitor inventory levels and turnover.
Ensure optimal inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts while managing working capital.
Identify and assess financial risks related to working capital, including exposure to currency fluctuations or market changes.
Implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the company's liquidity.
Prepare and present regular working capital and cash flow reports to management, highlighting trends, issues, and recommendations.
Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for improving working capital efficiency.
Coordinate with internal teams (finance, operations, procurement) to ensure alignment in working capital management.
Build and maintain relationships with banks, suppliers, and customers to optimize cash flow management.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in cash and asset management practices.
Suggest enhancements to accounting and financial systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
