Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This position will serve U.S.-based entities, handling comprehensive accounting services, tax filings, and business incorporations.

Work Schedule

Full-time position (Monday - Friday)

Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Core Responsibilities:-

-General Accounting

Manage both cash and accrual accounting systems Provide comprehensive financial reporting with dashboard views Specialize in SMB accounting and industry-specific solutions Perform catch-up bookkeeping and books cleanup services (historical data reconstruction) Handle specialized ecommerce accounting and wholesale distributor accounts

-Financial Management

Oversee bill pay services with due date tracking and approval systems Process 1099 forms and contractor management Handle invoicing services and billing platform management

-Inventory & Revenue Management

Monitor real-time inventory systems Manage purchase orders and stock levels Implement advanced revenue recognition procedures Handle multiple revenue schedules and product-specific customization

-Compliance & Tax Services

Prepare and file individual tax returns (Form 1040) Handle complex individual tax situations Manage tax planning and optimization Process multiple state tax returns Provide tax advisory services to individuals Manage accounts receivable and collection processes Ensure sales tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions Handle tax calculations and compliance monitoring Process business tax filings and provide CPA services

-Technical RequirementsSoftware Proficiency

QuickBooks (Advanced level) Odoo (Preferred if familiar or be ready to Learn) Other SMB accounting platforms - Xero and Zohobooks

-Required Skills & Qualifications

Cleared all CPA Exams Proven experience with remote work Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and compliance requirements Experience with ecommerce and wholesale distribution accounting Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines Advanced technical aptitude with accounting software platforms
