About the Role

The Course Counsellor serves as the primary point of contact for prospective students. The role involves guiding candidates through available makeup and beauty courses, understanding their career aspirations, and converting inquiries into successful admissions. The position requires strong communication skills, a student-centric approach, and the ability to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct counselling sessions with walk-in students, phone leads, and online inquiries regarding available courses. Provide accurate course details, career pathways, fees, and enrolment procedures. Identify student needs and recommend suitable programs to support their career goals. Guide students through the admission process and ensure timely completion of documentation. Maintain follow-up communication with potential students to maximize admissions conversion. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales/admission targets assigned by the management. Participate in promotional activities such as seminars, events, and social media follow-ups to generate leads. Maintain and update admission records and CRM systems. Coordinate with academic and operations teams for smooth onboarding of enrolled students. Deliver exceptional customer service to uphold the brand reputation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Minimum 1 year of experience in counselling, sales, or customer service (preferably in education or training sector). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong persuasion, negotiation, and student relationship-building skills. Ability to work with targets and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools.
