A DTDC delivery boy is

responsible for picking up and delivering packages to customers within an assigned area

. Key duties include ensuring timely and safe delivery, handling cash on delivery (COD) payments, sorting packages for efficient routing, and maintaining accurate delivery records. The role requires a bike, a smartphone, and strong customer service skills, with requirements varying by location but often open to candidates with minimal experience or education beyond 10th grade. Key responsibilities

Delivery and pickup:

Collect and deliver parcels and documents to customers in a designated territory.

Route management:

Sort and organize packages to plan efficient delivery routes.

Record keeping:

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and payments.

Customer service:

Provide polite and professional service to customers, answering their questions and addressing concerns.

Operational tasks:

Report issues and discrepancies to the office, and adhere to company policies and safety standards. Requirements and qualifications

Vehicle:

A bike is typically required for transportation.

Equipment:

A smartphone is necessary for managing deliveries.

Skills:
