The position will report to the EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer, who is based in the U.S.This is an exciting opportunity to act as a true business partner and strategic leader supporting senior business leaders and their teams while playing a key role in supporting the company\xe2\x80\x99s growth and success. The role is part of a collaborative Global HR Leadership Team and will drive the planning and implementation of country-specific HR strategies to enable business success.The Country HR Leader leads a team of HR Business Partners and COE functions (Center of Expertise) in a matrix management structure with both solid and dotted-line reports and is responsible for all HR activities within the country, including Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent management and Organizational Development, Compensation and benefits, Well-Being, Community Relations, Internal/external Communication, HR Operations, and more.What You Can Expect

  • Act as HR Business Partner for India Country Head and other senior business unit leaders. Responsible for advising on global/local initiatives and leading the local people agenda.
  • Responsible for the delivery of HR services, including hands-on responsibilities alongside managing and/or coordinating the local team.
  • Develop and drive the end-to-end HR strategy for India across all HR disciplines in alignment with the global HR strategy and business unit priorities.
  • Consult on a broad range of people-related topics, including employee relations, leadership development, succession planning, recruitment, compensation and benefits, organizational design, diversity and employee advocacy.
  • Work closely with Corporate Human Resources to ensure local HR programs, policies and practices are aligned with the greater company and HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Participate as a member of the Marvell India leadership team, providing strategic consulting to the country head in promoting organization\xe2\x80\x99s goals. Lead and initiate changes to address business challenges, build and implement key employee engagement & employee experience strategies.
  • Lead cross organization interventions, change management processes, team building processes, manager coaching, retention programs, leadership development, org evaluation and performance management processes, org analysis processes, surveys etc.
  • Lead internal and external organizational communication, promote key messages, agenda and organizational culture.
  • Collaborate across key cross functional teams within HR and across the company and represent as \xe2\x80\x9cOne HR\xe2\x80\x9d to the business. Use best practices and knowledge of local internal or external business issues to improve service delivery.
  • Stay current on regulatory developments and consistently and proactively manage implications of regulatory requirements on people-related transactions with local scope. Engage with internal and external key stakeholders, including internal and external legal counsel, compliance, corporate tax, finance, and regulators on regulatory matters.
  • Lead HR crisis management and provide escalation point for HR and ER related matters.
  • Act as HR point of contact for Senior Executive visits.
What We\'re Looking For
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in human resources or related field \xe2\x80\x93 a must, MA \xe2\x80\x93 An advantage
  • 12+ years Hi -Tech Human Resources experience with at least five (5) of those years in a leadership/management role
  • Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines (recruitment, ER, comp & ben, etc.).
  • 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an HR Business Partner role, preferably supporting engineering organizations in a fast-paced high-tech environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams across businesses in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong working partnerships with clients and colleagues; ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions and be creative in developing alternative solutions in a very fast-paced environment
  • Develops effective relationships with others; engages the hearts and minds to motivate, engage and empower
  • Possess a strong ability to prioritize, plan, organize and multitask
  • Demonstrated ability to manage significant change agendas
  • Excellent communication, cultural awareness and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly assess situations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Exceptional consulting, influencing without authority, negotiation, coaching and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in English (speaking/writing/reading)
  • Experience working effectively in a dynamic fast-paced technology environment
  • Prior experience as Head of HR in a MNC organization preferred
