The Belgian Waffle (BWC) is a Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) concept serving the indulgent snacking market in India. BWC has grown since inception to a footprint of ~350 stores across India. BWC operates a combination of company owned stores (COCO) and franchise owned/operated stores (FOFO). At present, BWC is present only in India. BWC is well capitalized and profitable.
BWC currently focuses on western, chocolate-based deserts (largely waffles); revenues are split between in-store consumption and take-away/delivery through 3rd party aggregators. At present, FMCG concepts have been piloted but not rolled out in any meaningful manner.
Over the last 12 months, BWC has begun making the transition to a professional-run management team with the induction of senior and experienced professionals across most senior functions. BWC is private equity backed.

Increased product innovation to keep the menu fresh.

Launching international operations across Middle East and Southeast Asia

About the Role:
Managing day to day store level operational activities to ensure the seamless guest experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Performing basic food preparation task such as preparing waffles, garnishing it etc.
Taking orders from the customers and providing them with the accurate information about the menu items.
Preparing food items according to recipes shared by the store manager.
Handling cash register and processing payments from customers.
Cleaning the stores and surrounding areas, including sweeping and mopping floors.
Preparing ingredients and maintaining inventory of food items in the kitchen area.
aking orders over the phone and providing customer services to patrons.
Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
Maintaining proper inventory and stock at the outlet.
Participating in training activities to improve services skills and knowledge of brand promotion and products.
Education Criteria:
Minimum 10th/ 12th pass out.
Basic knowledge of computer.
