Responsible for providing excellent customer service and driving sales at a point of sale. This includes greeting customers, answering questions, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized sales area. They also play a key role in maintaining inventory, restocking shelves, and potentially handling customer complaints. Also, video call selling for PAN India customers would be a must. Should be fluent in English, Bengali and Hindi.
Customer Interaction & Sales:
Greeting and Assisting Customers: Welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them to suitable products or services.
Providing Product Information: Answering questions about products, features, pricing, and promotions.
Processing Transactions: Handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods accurately and efficiently.
Upselling and Cross-selling: Suggesting additional or complementary items to increase sales.
Handling Customer Complaints: Addressing customer concerns and finding solutions, escalating to management when necessary.
Operational Tasks:
Maintaining Sales Counter Area: Keeping the sales counter clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, restocking shelves, and reporting shortages.
Opening and Closing Procedures: May be involved in opening and closing the store, including setting up the sales counter.
Additional Responsibilities:
Meeting Sales Targets: Working to achieve individual or team sales goals.
Building Customer Relationships: Creating a positive and welcoming environment to encourage repeat business.
Staying Informed: Keeping up to date on product knowledge, promotions, and store policies.
Collaborating with Team: Working with other sales staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
