Job Purpose

To serve customers at the college canteen and stores by taking orders, handling payments, and keeping the counter area neat and stocked.

Work Timing

:

Timing: Rotational shift

Shift 1: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Shift 2: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Duties

Greet customers/students politely and take their orders. Collect payments (cash, UPI, card) and give correct change. Serve food, snacks, and store items quickly and neatly. Arrange and refill items on shelves and counters. Keep the counter and work area clean at all times. Check expiry dates and ensure items are fresh. Help in unloading and arranging new stock. Work with kitchen/store staff for smooth service. Keep simple sales records as told by the supervisor.

Requirements

Education: 10th / 12th pass. Experience in sales, canteen, or shop work is preferred but not a must. Basic reading, writing, and simple math skills. Friendly nature and good with customers. Able to stand for long hours and work during busy times.
