Job Summary:

Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, from inquiry to enrollment. This role involves evaluating applications, conducting interviews, organizing recruitment events, and maintaining strong relationships

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and their families. Provide information about academic programs, admissions requirements, financial aid, campus life, and career outcomes. Review and evaluate application materials to make admission recommendations. Conduct interviews and participate in admission committee discussions. Represent the institution at college fairs, high schools, and recruitment events. Maintain accurate records of prospective students in the CRM system. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials. Assist with campus visit programs, open houses, and virtual tours. Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person in a timely and professional manner. Track and report on recruitment and admission metrics. Stay current with higher education trends and competitor offerings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Previous experience in admissions, student services, or related field preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Slate, Salesforce). Customer service-oriented with a high level of professionalism.
