COUNSELOR- ACADEMIC

We are looking for a motivated and student-focused

Counselor

to connect with prospective learners through inbound and outbound calls. The role involves explaining course offerings, guiding students through the admission process, supporting senior counselors in conversions, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. This position is ideal for fresh graduates who are confident communicators and goal-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls and handle inbound enquiries from prospective students. Counsel students by providing accurate information about courses, fees, eligibility, and admission procedures. Support senior counselors in closing admissions and ensuring lead-to-enrolment conversion. Regularly follow up with leads via calls, messages, and emails to drive enrolments. Maintain detailed records of student interactions, follow-ups, and call logs in the system. Achieve monthly targets related to follow-ups, conversions, and enrolments. Coordinate with internal teams for documentation, verification, and student onboarding. Ensure professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to organizational policies in all communications.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

Graduate in any discipline (Bachelor's degree mandatory).

Experience:

Minimum 6 months experience is required. Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills. Strong persuasion, sales, and interpersonal abilities. Basic proficiency in MS Office tools. Team player with a positive attitude and a target-driven mindset.

Salary & Benefits

CTC:

?15,000 - ?30,000 per month (based on interview performance and skill set). Growth opportunities in the education counseling and admissions domain.
