The Patient Counsellor plays a key role in guiding patients through their eye care journey by providing information, emotional support, and counseling regarding eye conditions, diagnostic procedures, treatment options, and surgeries. The counsellor helps patients make informed decisions, improves treatment acceptance, and ensures a positive patient experience.

Explain eye conditions, diagnostic tests, treatment plans, and surgical procedures in a simple and understandable manner Counsel patients and attendants regarding pre-operative and post-operative care Address patient concerns, fears, and questions empathetically Coordinate between doctors, nurses, optometrists, and administrative staff Assist patients with appointment scheduling, investigations, admissions, and discharges Ensure smooth patient flow within the hospital
Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Empathy and patient-centered approach Ability to explain medical information in simple language Multilingual skills preferred Basic computer knowledge
Experience

1-2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred Freshers with strong communication skills may be considered

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
