Responsibilities:
1. Provide Comprehensive Counselling: Act as a primary point of contact for prospective students, offering personalized guidance through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and live chat sessions.

2. Career and Course Selection: Assess students\' interests, hobbies, skills, and educational backgrounds to suggest appropriate academic programs and career paths offered by Chandigarh University.

3. Application Assistance: Assist students in navigating the application process, clarifying doubts, and explaining requirements such as entrance exams, eligibility criteria, and admission deadlines.

4. Answering Queries: Responsibly address inquiries related to courses, scholarships, financial aid, campus life, and infrastructure, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is provided.

5. Engage and Follow up: Regularly follow up with prospective students through outbound calls and emails, fostering relationships and providing additional information to support their decision-making process.

6. Identify and Analyze Challenges: Track common concerns and challenges faced by students during the admission process, and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve them effectively.

7. Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of counseling interactions, admission progress, and outcomes, utilizing university databases and CRM systems.

Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor\'s degree in psychology, education, counseling, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in career counseling are desirable.

2. Experience: Prior experience in counseling or advising roles, preferably in an educational or career counseling setting. Experience in a call center environment is an advantage.

3. Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills to establish rapport with students, efficiently relay information, and resolve queries with professionalism and empathy.

4. Empathy and Patience: Display sensitivity towards diverse student backgrounds and adapt counseling approaches accordingly. Patience is crucial while dealing with indecisive or anxious students.

5. Tech-savviness: Proficiency in using digital communication platforms, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with telephony systems is an added advantage.

6. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent listening skills, positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team-driven environment.

7. Organization and Multitasking: Strong time management skills to handle a high volume of inquiries, maintain meticulous records, and meet deadlines efficiently.

8. Knowledge Sector Awareness: Stay updated on Chandigarh University\'s programs, admission policies, and industry trends in career counseling and education.
