Location: Sector 62, Noida
Job Type: Full-time
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Salary Range: ?25,000 - ?30,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a smart, dynamic, and well-organized female for Counsellor position to oversee daily administrative and operational functions of the organization.

The Counsellor will be responsible for providing career guidance, psychological support, and motivational counselling to enrolled and prospective trainees under the Skill Development Training Program. The Counsellor will play a crucial role in mobilizing candidates, addressing their concerns, ensuring retention, and supporting their overall development.

Key Responsibilities:

Mobilization & Enrolment: Engage with prospective candidates through field visits, campaigns, and community outreach. Conduct orientation sessions to explain the program's benefits, structure, and outcomes. Counsel potential candidates and parents (if required) for enrolment. Career Guidance & Support: Assess trainee interests, aptitudes, and aspirations to guide them towards suitable job roles. Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions throughout the training period. Assist in identifying personal or psychological challenges affecting training and suggest remedies. Retention & Motivation: Monitor attendance and follow up with absentee trainees. Implement motivation strategies to reduce dropout rates. Organize soft skills and personality development sessions. Placement Preparation: Coordinate with the placement team to prepare students for interviews. Build the confidence of trainees through regular mentoring sessions. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain counselling records and prepare periodic reports on student progress. Report any special cases or issues to the Centre Manager. Participate in reviews and submit MIS reports as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Female candidates with a dynamic personality are encouraged to apply. Local candidates with community engagement experience will be preferred. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in counselling or working with youth, preferably in a training/education setup. Experience in government-funded skill development programs (like DDU-GKY, PMKVY, RTD-BSDM, etc.) is an advantage. Freshers with excellent communication and personality may also apply. Strong communication skills in both Hindi and English, written and verbal. Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and remain composed under pressure. Empathetic, professional, and positive attitude in handling student interactions. Good organizational and coordination abilities. Familiarity with training centre operations and documentation processes will be preferred.
