Providing empathetic, calm, and professional psychological support to distressed callers (victims, family members, bystanders).
Conducting rapid psychosocial assessments in high-pressure emergencies.
Guiding callers through basic psychological first aid and emotional coping strategies.
Identifying callers at risk of severe trauma or self-harm and activating appropriate referral plans.
Collaborating with emergency dispatchers, medical teams, police, and fire services to ensure callers' mental well-being is supported.
Delivering psychoeducation during calls to normalize emotional responses and provide immediate comfort.
Maintaining accurate, confidential records of calls, including mental health observations and referral actions.
