Job description



We are seeking a counsellor or psychologist to join Mano Layam Rhythm of the Mind Centre for Wellbeing at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus.



The Centre provides psychoeducation, support groups, one-on-one counselling, community linkage, and workshops for the campus community.



If you are interested in working with young adults and passionate about improving holistic wellbeing, join our team to implement dynamic programs tailored to student needs.



Relevant counselling experience with anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship issues is helpful.



Role



Provide counselling, support groups, and workshops for students



Provide ethical counselling practices



Complete timely, accurate record-keeping



Skills Required



Good active listening and communication skills



Patient, compassionate, and non-judgmental attitude



Willingness to create a sense of safety and security with students



Work with students to help them develop their own solutions and set achievable goals



Organized and timely recording keeping



Knowledge of ethical guidelines



Ability to work with a team



Ability to work under pressure



Good command of the English language
