Role Overview:
As a
Counsellor Intern
, you will support the counselling and psychometric assessment process at CareerNaksha. You will help students and young professionals explore their interests, strengths, and career options using structured guidance tools and interactive sessions. This role provides hands-on exposure to the field of
career counselling, psychology, and education management
.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior counsellors in conducting one-on-one and group career counselling sessions.
Administer, collect, and interpret
psychometric assessments
under supervision.
Support the preparation of counselling reports, student progress summaries, and feedback forms.
Communicate with students, parents, and educational institutions to schedule counselling sessions and workshops.
Research education and career trends across industries to update resource materials.
Help design and conduct
career guidance workshops
in schools, colleges, or online platforms.
Maintain accurate records of sessions, feedback, and client information.
Participate in internal training sessions to enhance your counselling and communication skills.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in
Psychology, Counselling, Education, or related field
.
Strong interest in
career guidance, counselling, and youth development
.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written).
Basic understanding of psychometric tools and personality assessments (e.g., MBTI, RIASEC, etc.) is preferred.
Empathetic, patient, and professional approach towards students and parents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
