We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Counselling Psychologist to join our Parent Counselling department. The role focuses on supporting parents through structured counselling, guiding home-based intervention programs for children, and fostering emotional well-being and resilience in the families.
Key Responsibilities:
Parent Counselling:
Provide individual and group counselling sessions for parents of children with special needs.
Assist parents in understanding and managing their child's condition, and offer strategies for coping with associated challenges.
Facilitate workshops and support groups to create a community of shared experiences and mutual support
Adolescent Counselling:
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for adolescents, addressing a range of emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
Develop tailored therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each adolescent client.
Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure holistic care and support for adolescents.
Support System Development:
Design and implement support systems that promote the overall well-being of children with special needs and their families.
Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate counselling services with other therapeutic interventions.
Advocate for the needs and rights of children with special needs within the community and educational systems.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Prepare reports and documentation as required by the centre and regulatory bodies.
Evaluate and document the effectiveness of counselling programs and interventions.
