The Psychologist will provide professional psychological support to students residing on the MOJO hostel campus. The role focuses on promoting students' mental health, emotional well-being, and personal development through assessment, counseling, and mental health programs designed to meet the unique challenges faced by students in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to identify students mental health issues, academic stress, and emotional challenges.
Provide individual and group counseling tailored to student needs, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, and interpersonal conflicts.
Develop and lead workshops or preventive programs on stress management, resilience, time management, and coping skills.
Offer support for crisis situations affecting students, including mental health emergencies.
Collaborate with academic staff, hostel management, and families to create a supportive environment for students.
Maintain confidential records of assessments and counseling sessions with adherence to privacy regulations.
Promote awareness and educate students about mental health, self-care, and available resources.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust approaches accordingly.
Stay updated with the latest research and best practices related to student mental health and psychology.
