Job Description

We are looking to hire a Career Counsellor / Psychologist with a strong niche in career counselling and student admissions counselling. The role primarily involves counselling prospective and newly registered students, understanding their academic and career goals, conducting psychometric assessments, meeting their parents and supporting the admission process.

This role is admissions-focused and does not involve outreach activities, institutional collaborations, webinar, or event coordination.

Key Responsibilities :



Conduct sessions with prospective students and newly registered/admitted students to understand their academic background, interests, aptitude, and career goals.

Provide career-focused counselling to help students make informed decisions regarding course selection and academic pathways.

Support the admission conversion process by addressing student concerns, clarifying program details, and guiding them through decision-making.

Administer and interpret psychometric and aptitude assessments to assess career fit and readiness, as and when required.

Offer structured pre-admission counselling to ensure alignment between student expectations and institutional offerings.

Work closely with the admissions team to ensure timely follow-ups and continuity in the counselling-to-enrollment process.

Maintain comprehensive student records including aptitude assessments and interests.

Stay updated with current career counselling practices, assessment tools, and trends relevant to higher education admissions.

This role includes performance-based incentives also linked to successful student enrolments besides the fixed monthly salary .

There are no fixed targets; incentives are designed to recognize effective counselling outcomes and conversions achieved through ethical and professional engagement.

Eligibility & Qualifications :



Master's degree in Psychology / Counselling Psychology / Applied Psychology

Prior 1 year experience in career counselling, student counselling, admissions counselling.

Certification in career guidance and counselling or psychometric testing is an advantage.
