We are looking for a compassionate and qualified

School Counselor

to support the academic, emotional, and social development of our students. The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping children and adolescents thrive, strong interpersonal skills, and a background in educational or child psychology.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students on academic, personal, behavioral, and social issues. Identify students in need of support and develop action plans to assist them. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a positive and inclusive school environment. Organize workshops and awareness programs on mental health, career guidance, stress management, etc. Support students with learning difficulties, emotional challenges, and peer conflicts. Maintain confidential student records and ensure ethical and professional standards. Act as a bridge between students and school authorities in handling sensitive issues. Guide students through transitions such as moving from primary to secondary education.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a school counselor or in a similar role (preferred). Strong listening, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of child development, behavior management, and mental health. Empathetic, approachable, and culturally sensitive. Ability to handle crisis situations and provide timely interventions.
