We are a leading manufacturer of plastic water storage tanks and pipes, seeking a highly motivated fresher graduate to join our team as a
Costing Trainee
. This role will focus on calculating and recording production costs, monitoring inventory, and supporting the pricing and cost analysis teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Cost Calculation & Recording: Assist in calculating and recording costs related to materials, labor, and overheads in the production of water storage tanks and pipes.
Inventory Monitoring: Monitor stock levels and assist in stock valuation to ensure accurate inventory management.
Monthly Cost Reports & Analysis: Prepare monthly cost reports, identify, and analyze cost variances to help optimize production costs.
Support Pricing Teams: Provide cost data and assist the pricing team in preparing accurate quotes for new orders.
Transaction Reconciliation: Reconcile and document all cost-related transactions to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
High school diploma required; a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
Theoretical knowledge of costing processes.
Proficiency in Excel Spreadsheet (Advanced skills in formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
