- Costing Merchandiser

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical

Costing Merchandiser

to join our merchandising team. The role requires strong expertise in

cost sheet preparation/ analysis, price negotiations, fabric/trim knowledge, and vendor coordination

to ensure competitive yet profitable pricing for apparel products.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare & verify

cost sheets and records

for garments. Maintain

costing standards

and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Negotiate costs with vendors, suppliers & factories. Identify

wastage & inefficiencies

in production processes. Evaluate & implement

cost control mechanisms

. Track raw material prices, market trends & cost fluctuations. Support order planning with accurate costing inputs. Prepare reports and present costing analysis to management.

Candidate Profile:

Graduate in

Textiles, Fashion Technology, or Merchandising

.

8-10 years

of experience in apparel costing/merchandising. Strong knowledge of

fabrics, trims & garment construction

. Proficient in

MS Excel & costing tools

. Excellent analytical, communication & negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
