Cost Calculation:

Develop detailed cost sheets for jewelry items, incorporating raw materials (gold, silver, precious stones), labor, manufacturing overheads, and waste.

Cost Analysis:

Conduct cost variance analysis to identify deviations from standard costs and understand their financial impact.

Pricing Strategy:

Provide insights into cost structures to support the development and optimization of pricing strategies to ensure profitability.

Collaboration:

Work closely with procurement to manage raw material costs and with production teams to understand labor and overhead expenses.

Profitability:

Analyze financial data to assess the profitability of various jewelry lines and contribute to overall financial performance.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, especially concerning volatile raw material prices like gold and silver.

Reporting:

Generate reports on cost structures, financial performance, and trends to inform management decisions.

Inventory Management:

Support accurate inventory valuation, which is crucial for accurate costing.
