Key responsibilities:



Extract quantities from interior design drawings and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and cost estimation techniques. Compare estimated BOQ with actual site quantities. Prepare cost comparative statements. Conduct market rate analysis and cost estimations. Perform cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs and enhance profitability. Define design specifications, standards, and budgets for interior projects. Liaise with suppliers to gather pricing information and incorporate it into the BOQ. Provide recommendations for non-tendered items. Willingness to travel to project sites to finalize commercials.


Work Experience





Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project management tools. 4-5 years of experience in construction projects as a Quantity Surveyor (preferably in interior projects). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * In-depth knowledge of materials and services in the Interior/Civil industry.
